What can I say. I love Gelato! Rich. Special. Fresh. Must have. You HAVE TO try their milk chocolate. Probably the best I have had. Might have to stop by to get a jar of it.

Tried out some chocolate today after a friend recommended Venchi. The dark choc pistachios are absolutely incredible, easily the best you there is! The gelatos were really good, natural, balanced, and not overly sweet. The space and vibe were wonderful. The 2 female staff assisting us Sunday afternoon July 19 were kind, patient, knowledgeable, professional, and always with natural smiles on their faces. They were very kind to our kid as well, which is always a plus! They’re exceptional! Would 100% come back and recommend to others!

What a pleasure it was visiting Venchi! A Venchi location opened in Tokyo right before moving back to the U.S. and I was so bummed I didn’t get to try it. Now one is established in my hometown and I couldn’t be more pleased. We visited on Memorial Day, late afternoon. At entry, the line appeared long, but it moved quite quickly. A staff member was taking orders from patrons in line and before we knew it, we were sampling gelato. We didn’t feel rushed, which can be the case at many ice cream shops. The. Gelato. Is. Bomb. I tried their two scoop regular waffle cone dipped in chocolate and rolled in caramelized hazelnuts with their #1 seller pistachio from bronte and stracciatella gelato. It was seriously one of the best gelatos I’ve ever had. But what made our experience so special was the service that was provided. Denniece was incredibly engaging, made us feel so welcome like we were the only customers in the store. She described all the different chocolates and even let us sample the chocolates (imported from Italy). As if she wasn’t kind enough, we ended up chatting with the gelato chef, Juliana, who was soooo sweet and even lived in Italy for several years. These ladies are

We go to Venchi almost every week! Even My two kids (10&3) know what flavors they want lol. Isaac is always very helpful and very nice! Their chocolates are super yummy too, even though it’s not cheap, but you can tell the difference compared to other chocolates. My husband has Venchi membership and it seems if you spend more than $20, you get a free chocolate bar. But last time I spent more than $30 (cuz I bought a chocolate box), the lady didn’t give me the chocolate bar 😢 my husband said he has to remind the staffs too, it seems the training is not enough….. especially they are very busy, so they usually forget. Also, the shop is a little small and the floor is a little old, so if Venchi can find a bigger shop in UTC, that would be great for the staffs and the customers 😆😆 otherwise when the lines get long, you just want to give up and go to other shops. Overall, Venchi is still our No.1 gelato shop in SD 😋

As the service industry grows uglier, littered with people who hate their jobs, don’t care about your experience, or who lack hospitality, it’s always nice to be greeted by someone friendly and willing to share an opinion about what’s good. Arianna was really sweet and friendly, and recommended the nougatine crepe to me! The crepe itself isn’t sweet, but the filling is incredibly rich. She recommended adding a scoop of gelato for a small extra charge, and I’m glad she did because the vanilla balanced out the richness of the crepe. Her coworker saw me checking out their chocolate selection and offered me a sample, which I wouldn’t have known they offered if she didn’t approach me. Their staff is great! I’ve been eyeing this place and finally decided to step inside. I’m glad I did, it’s perfect if you’re craving something sweet!
